— Website reform and print production as part of effective communication.

Summary

The Rehabilitation Foundation is known as a nationwide expert organization that provides a wide range of rehabilitative services such as rehabilitative work activities, personalized job coaching and learning support. We comprehensively redesigned the website of the Rehabilitation Foundation to meet modern technical and content requirements. The revamp was implemented for the WebFlow platform, which allows visual content management, automatic upgradeability, as well as a user-friendly editing environment without constant technical maintenance. The integration of multiple sites achieved a clear, user-friendly website package.

In addition to the website reform, we produced a printed guide for the Foundation, which was designed and implemented comprehensively, from the compilation of the material to the ready-to-print whole.

Baseline

The rehabilitation foundation's old WordPress site was technically outdated, slow, and maintenance-heavy. The user experience suffered from structural fragmentation, confusing navigation, and a visually outdated interface. In addition, two separate websites were linked to the Foundation's activities: isus.fi and omedia.fi. Integration of the sites was felt to be necessary to improve functionality, accessibility and discoverability of information. In order to eliminate fragmentation, the entirety of the Yötoutussaatia.fi website was included directly in the Rehabilitoutussaatio.fi website. In addition, the contents of the Learning Disability.fi website were better integrated into the main website.

The main objectives of the website reform were defined as better usability and accessibility, as well as a faster and more secure website assembly without the technical maintenance burden. At the same time, there was a desire to ensure centralized control of the entire network visibility. The content also had to be clear and structurally more logical compared to the old pages.

The integration resulted in a clear, user-friendly website

As a final result we rebuilt the website on the WebFlow platform, resulting in the site Content editing made easier through visual content management. In addition to this, the use of the site on different devices is smoother.

User experience improved:

  • With structurally redesigned page templates
  • With updated main menu and multi-level drop-down menu solutions
  • With search functionality and text magnification to support accessibility
  • Content aggregation and targeting of content by user groups

The reform also minimized Continuous maintenance — an automatically updated platform to reduce technical concerns.

In addition, we fully integrate the previously separately operated omedia.fi into the main website of the site, which streamlined user paths and focused communication more effectively on a single channel. The integration included, among other things, the inclusion of the organizations' course calendar on the main website of the Rehabilitation Foundation.

During the process, the fulfilment of the wishes and needs of the customer was ensured by means of meetings and mutually agreed communication channels.

Implementation of a guide serving the organization field as an additional service

In addition to the website, we implemented a print for the Rehabilitation Foundation Ideas for activities to improve employment conditions for organisations -guide, serving for communication and information communication in the organizational field.

Finalizing Copywriting and Language Costume we unified the contents, proofread the texts and streamlined the language. Graphic Design the main emphasis was on visual layout, typographical look and bringing the file into a ready-to-print whole. With the coordination of print production achieved successful material delivery and logistics with the printing house.

As a whole, the process was implemented as an end-to-end service, ensuring the visual and content quality of the guide and saving the resources of the client organization.
